A Pocket Letter!

I recently sent off this pocket letter all the way to Italy and now that it has arrived I can share it here!
I used all Cocoa Vanilla papers in each pocket, these papers all had black and white patterns on the back so I left them to shine by themselves. I used cut files from coco vanilla and cut two of each and slipped them into the pockets so that they could be taken out and used.
I added tassels and ribbon to the top hole in the protector, I love how this turned out.
I added a few things on top of the protector including some colourful enamel dots and gold tiny words and white tiny words also from cocoa vanilla.
I added a flower, wood veneer, heart stickers, bamboo label stickers and a little package of punched gold shapes. Pocket letters are such fun to make!

Pocket letter

I just posted off a pocket letter this morning, I hope its safe to share here.
This month the theme was quite floral so I ended up playing with paint and painting some flowers.
I chopped the painting up so that it would fit into the page protector and then added a few goodies in the back of the pocket letter.
I wrote a letter on a separate pretty piece of paper and folded it up, tied with ribbon and just added it into the envelope. I also added a little extra gift.
On the back I made some larger flowers from felt and then hot glued them on to the back of the page protector, this worked because the openings fro each pocket are on the front so I was still able to add bits and bobs into the pockets. I'm pretty sure that the recipient will be able to take them off and use them.I hope she likes it!!

Pocket Letter

I'm still participating in a monthly pocket letter swap that is happening on the Scrapping clearly facebook page. This month theme was New Year, there was lots of gold and black on the inspiration picture so I just went with that
Some months I find it easier than others, this moth I kept it simple. My biggest hurdle is getting it done in the time frame- I keep promising myself that I will do it at the start of the month but the month just goes so quickly.
In the back pockets I've popped some ribbon , stars, heart tape, tea and a choccie. Its such a fun way to get something nice in the mail.

My First Pocket Letter

I have recently joined in on a pocket letter swap with some lovely scrapbooking ladies. Its such a fun and fairly stress free swap. And it is lovely  to be connecting with other scrapbooking types since in my everyday life I don't know any other scrapbookers- scrapbook stores are quite a long way from here.
Anyway on to the pocket letters. This one was a Heidi Swapp themed pocket letter, just my favorite scrapper! So I was excited to get started with this theme.
I tried to keep it as simple as I could and left nearly everything for the recipient to be able to be taken out and used. Of course I added in a few little treats too!
I did decorate the back  with a few bits and bobs including a letter with a little bit about me.
When I wrapped up my letter I added a patty pan, a doily and some ribbon. All in my favorite colour combination right now- pink and gold with black and white!
I loved creating this pocket letter !
